Brief Biography
John F. Williams, CPA
I founded my firm in 1992 with another CPA and practiced as a partnership for approximately eight years. In the year 2000, I became a sole practitioner, concentrating on service to the insurance industry.
Areas of practice include auditing of financial statements, special audit projects, fraud examinations, and internal auditing, including reviews of internal controls and SAS 70 documentation and testing.
I became a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), in October, 2009.
Aside from a two year stint as CFO of a start-up insurance company, I have been a practicing CPA since 1980.
I graduated from the Graduate School of Management, UCLA, 1980, and from UCLA with bachelor degrees in Mathematics and Economics, magna cum laude, 1978
